About the Teen and Adult Program

The PKU Teen and Adult Program is an initiative of the National PKU Alliance (NPKUA). It provides information and support for teens and adults living with PKU.  This website serves as the virtual home for the program.

Teens and adults with PKU face many challenges. The program provides a one-stop resource for adults seeking to improve their quality of life. This is the only program composed of a national network of adults with PKU, their families, clinicians, and industry leaders to address the variety of needs of adults with PKU.

Welcome to the Teen and Adult Website for PKU!  This site is designed especially for you as part of the National PKU Alliance's Teen and Adult Program.  We hope you will use this site to get the latest information about how to manage your PKU as a teen or adult and connect with others in our community to find support.

The National PKU Alliance (NPKUA) works to improve the lives of individuals with PKU and pursue a cure. The purposes of the Alliance are to provide education, support, and advocacy to the PKU community and to accelerate the timeline for a cure. For more information, visit www.npkua.org.
